Pessoas!
Aderi a idéia da Profa. Caroline.
Grande beijo,
Profa. Angélica Fontes
Então, lá vai:
BRAZILIAN AMAZÔNIA
(Raimundo Santa Helena)
"Engineer André Rebouças
At one hundred years ago
Wrote about Amazônia
'Agriculture'... now we go
to discuss concerning forest -
Million of trees over there still rest
To save the world of a blow...
A blow in the world is desert
'Stove effect and pollution
None fish none bird
Only misery and inanition!
When jungle is really banished
The humanity will be just punished...
Let's avoid it without inhibition!
Amazon includes the states:
Amazonas and Pará
Roraima Acre Rondônia
Maranhão and Amapá
A bit of Mato Grosso
And Goiás... whose green colossus
Is fifteen times State of Utah...
More than 3 million and 5 hundred
Square kilometers of green -
The Brazilian Amazônia
Up to now still has been
A third of the world woods!
This wealth can't be mere goods
To enrich King nor Emperor neither Queen!
In South America (Brazil)
Amazon River irrigates
The biggest hydrographic basin
In the world across many states
And nations... it flows!
Each Government knows:
Big rivers are big gates...
Gates to 'oceans gates to' mountains
Gates to 'Freedom gates to' progress
Gates to make the people happier
Gates to bring us easier success!
Depredators of Green and greens
Are 'hunters-killers' by some means...
'NO' to them! To Nature: 'YES'!
Through your knowledge and technology
You'll be happy or miserable
Flying aboard a modern jet
Or waving free in a cable!
If you seed poisons in the wood
They'll turn back in drink and food
Infecting freezer oven'nd table...
AMAZÔNIA: World Lung
Breathing life without any fee!
Each of you wherever you are
Ecologist you must be:
Saving green and indians and spring
As did Anchieta, Vilas-Boas, Sting,
Rondon, Noel Nutels, Chico Mendes,
Raoni... "
